VRV System Update
Owens were assigned the task of replacing two 20-year-old rooftop chillers at Christie’s HQ during the height of summer. Due to a 10-week lead time for road closures in the borough, an alternative solution had to be identified to prevent project delays and disruption to the office.
Solutions
To avoid the delay caused by road closures, Owens opted to install five modern VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) systems, known for their sleek design, easy installation, and low maintenance. These units were ideal for the office environment, ensuring smooth operation without causing interruptions.
Additionally, our team installed a new distribution board and all-new mains wiring to support the upgraded air conditioning systems. Despite the complexities, the project was carried out without any downtime to the office.
